The Student Services staff at the College are very helpful. Whenever I have an issue they are always really friendly and happy to assist me.
I had some concerns before I arrived and I spoke to the College staff and they clarified everything for me. At Student Services there is even someone who provides counselling if you’re feeling homesick, or if you need to talk about anything that's concerning you, like your health or grades.
Our support for students begins before they even land in the UK. We’ll be ready to answer any query you may have before your arrival, whether it’s about obtaining your visa or preparing for the UK climate. You’ll also receive a pre-arrival pack, full of handy tips and useful information.
We want to make you feel welcome in the UK from the moment you step off the plane. That’s why we can pick you up from the airport and take you straight to your accommodation. Our student services team will make sure you are settled in and have everything you need.
Once you have accepted your offer to study with us, you can book your airport transfers by filling in the form in the pre-arrival area.
During Welcome Week, you will be shown around the various College facilities, as well as the University itself, all before your classes start. You will meet the staff who will be teaching and looking after you over the coming months, and can make friends with other students from across the world.
The College will organise frequent activities and events to give you the most rewarding experience possible of living and studying in the UK. You can visit local museums, galleries and historic landmarks, and go on trips to nearby cities and towns.
UWE Bristol’s International College hosts students in stylish, modern residences, complete with contemporary conveniences and private bathrooms. The accommodation includes all bills, and is conveniently located on the University campus, allowing you to join the student community from day one.
