Pathways at Pace University: program options

Update for fall 2020 intake: students who are unable to join their program in person can begin their Pace studies in an online format.

We offer preparation programs that lead into Pace University undergraduate and graduate degrees. If you do not need degree preparation, Pathways staff can help you apply directly to a bachelor’s (Year 1 or Transfer admission) or master’s at Pace.

Direct admission to a bachelor’s degree

Students who meet all entry requirements should apply for direct admission to Year 1 of a bachelor’s degree or transfer admission to Year 2 or 3*. Disciplines include arts and sciences, business, computing, education and health science. See all available degrees.

For most degrees, you can choose to study in New York City and nearby Westchester County.

*International students who have already completed some university credits may be eligible to enter Year 2 or 3 of a bachelor’s degree at Pace University. Learn more about the transfer admission process.

Direct admission to a master’s degree

Students who meet all entry requirements can apply for direct admission to a master’s degree. Disciplines include business, computing, media, nutrition, psychology, pubic administration, science, and TESOL. See all available degrees.

Some degrees offer a choice between Pace’s New York City and Westchester campuses.

Undergraduate Global Pathways program

Improve your English language and academic grades, for progression to Year 1 or 2 of a bachelor’s degree.  You can also earn credits that you will transfer to your degree. Available disciplines include arts and sciences, business and computing. See all progression degrees.

Study your pathway program on Pace’s New York City campus and continue your studies there or progress to the Westchester campus, depending on your degree and preference.

Graduate Global Pathways program

Study your pathway program on Pace’s New York City campus and continue your studies in Lower Manhattan or progress to the Westchester campus, depending on your degree and preference.

Intensive English Program

The Intensive English Program (IEP) is for students who have been “conditionally admitted” to one of the following programs at Pace University but need to improve their English level to meet the English entry requirement:

  • 3-semester Undergraduate Global Pathways program
  • 3-semester Graduate Global Pathways program

These students can first join Pace University’s English Language Institute at the New York City campus. You will study IEP for 16 hours per week for either a 7- or 14-week session.

  • Other requirements

    A portfolio is needed for BFA Art.

    GMAT/GRE scores are required by business master’s programs

    3-year bachelor’s degrees are considered by Seidenberg School of Computer Science, but a GRE score is needed from these applicants.

    4-year bachelor’s degrees are required by Dyson College of Arts and Sciences.
