Arizona State University cost of attendance

Studying abroad is a big investment, so you need to plan ahead. In addition to paying for tuition, you must have funds to cover the full cost of attending a university in the USA. The information on this page will help you better understand these expenses.

Proof of finances

You must receive a Certificate of Eligibility – also known as “Form I-20” – to apply for your US study visa. To issue your I-20, ASU must have proof (usually a bank statement or sponsorship letter) that you have funding available to cover costs at least 1 year, including tuition, fees and living expenses.

View the tables below to see current estimated expenses by program, and the financial guarantee forms to see the minimum funds required as an international student.

All costs in US dollars for the 2019–20 academic year.
