If you’re a student with accommodation in the UK and have been affected by the coronavirus outbreak, don’t worry: we’re here to support you. We understand that you may have already left the UK to return to your home country, or may still be living in your residence in the UK.
We’ve updated our policy on accommodation to ensure that we can be as flexible as possible, and to make sure you are safe and supported during the coronavirus outbreak.
If you have returned your key and let us know that you have moved out by completing this form by Friday 8th May, we will be able to release you from your contract and won’t charge you for the Summer term starting from Saturday 30th May. If you have already paid, we can either refund any overpayment to you or provide a credit towards a future room booking with Kaplan Living.
Kaplan is encouraging all third-party providers it works with to offer refunds in line with its own direct students. Kaplan are discussing this with each provider and if they are able to offer a refund, we will then pass this on to the student. Please complete this form to confirm if you have already left or to let us know when you are due to leave.
At this stage we ask that you please respect current government restrictions and do not travel. However, if possible, we would ask you to make arrangements to collect your possessions by the end of your tenancy. Please fill in this form to let us know your plans, and we can see what assistance we can provide.
Kaplan are pleased to confirm you can stay in your current room at no extra cost if you are unable to get home due to Covid-19 and staying in the UK is permissible under Tier 4 regulations. This is possible from the end of your original contract until Saturday 29th August.

If you are still living in your student room you are required to adhere to the terms of your tenancy, which includes the payment of your rent until the end of the contract period.
All of our teaching is now online and you can enrol from your home country. Therefore, you are not required to travel to the UK and can cancel your accommodation booking at no cost. You are still able to make bookings for future intakes with the confidence that if teaching is still online at that point, you will be able to cancel your accommodation booking again at no cost.
If you are able to travel and would still like to come to the UK you are able to do so, but please ensure you let our accommodation team and the college aware of your plans.
You are welcome to book a room for your course start date in September; please look at our available options and submit the booking form. If you are then unable to travel we will cancel your accommodation booking at no cost.
