The tutors at Glasgow International College are really helpful. They check my work carefully and give lots of detail on how I can improve. The Student Services staff are very helpful too, but in a different way. They assist you with day-to-day life and can give you directions and show you around.

The College staff were great – they helped me settle down perfectly and they made sure I had everything. I was enrolled smoothly with no issues and I received my student ID on the same day, so it was really efficient.

Pre-arrival support

Our advisers will be ready to support you even before you arrive in the UK. They will send you a pre-arrival guide filled with useful information and helpful tips, and will be more than happy to answer any questions you have about the process, the College or your studies.

At the airport

We will be there to support you as soon as you land in the UK. We can pick you up from the airport and take you to your accommodation, and will make sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need.

Once you have accepted your offer to study with us, you can book your airport transfers by filling in the form in the pre-arrival area.

Welcome Week

In your first week, you will be shown around the College and the University facilities, and meet the teachers and staff who will be educating and supporting you. We will take you through the process of setting up a bank account and registering with a doctor, and will help you settle in and feel welcome in the UK.

Social activities

Regular activities will provide you with great opportunities to meet your fellow students, and make friends for life. Sports tournaments, treasure hunts, creative writing and arts & crafts workshops are just some of the ways you can enjoy College life. We also organise trips to Edinburgh and the surrounding countryside.

Accommodation

The College features stylish and modern accommodation, giving you a comfortable and contemporary place to stay – complete with a private bathroom. The accommodation includes all bills, and is close to the University campus, as well as shops, cafés, restaurants and local landmarks.
