This is not an academic preparation course — instead, the focus is to equip you with key skills and knowledge, which will allow you to best present yourself and your research ideas to UK universities. The Pre-Doctorate also aims to give you an opportunity to engage with research supervisors, and with both current and former PhD students.

The course built on my knowledge of the doctorate research and selection process. I have developed my research proposal and included historical background, as well as theories in the field of my research. The course also gave me the opportunity to have interviews with supervisors at respected universities.
