The thing I like the most about Nottingham Trent International College is being able to get a lot of support and one-on-one support time with tutors. I also like meeting new people from all over the world, the comfortable classroom setting, and small group sizes.

The staff have been very helpful. The Learning Support Tutors are really great and help us to become familiar with our new environment. They can assist with most situations.

Pre-arrival support

Before you arrive, our helpful team will already be helping you prepare for your life in the UK. You’ll receive a pre-arrival guide with useful information, as well as advice on obtaining a visa, and any other guidance you feel you need.

At the airport

The student services team will do everything they can to make your journey to the UK go as smoothly as possible. They can come to pick you up from the airport, take you to your accommodation, and make sure you are comfortably settled into your new surroundings.

Once you have accepted your offer to study with us, you can book your airport transfers by filling in the form in the pre-arrival area.

Welcome Week

During Welcome Week, you will have a chance to meet your tutors, the other College staff and your fellow students. We’ll organise a tour of the city of Nottingham, and we’ll show you around the various University facilities that you can access during your studies.

Social activities

Throughout your time at the College, there will be a variety of activities and events organised especially for students. We encourage you to get involved in these, as they’re designed to give you the best possible experience of life in the UK. As well as things like sports tournaments, ice skating and rock climbing, we’ll organise trips to museums, theme parks and other cities.

Accommodation

The College’s modern, comfortable residences come with all the amenities you might need, including private bathrooms and WiFi. There are great social spaces for study and leisure, including a television lounge and games area. You’ll also receive a starter pack of bedding and cooking equipment to help you feel at home. Find out more about our excellent residence on the NTIC accommodation page.
