The student services team at the University of Essex International College is there to make sure you have an exceptional experience in the UK. They will do everything they can to support you on your path to the University, and ensure you have everything you need.

Our advisers will support you even before you arrive in the UK. We’ll send you a pre-arrival pack filled with useful information about your study destination and UK life. Our friendly staff will also be ready to help you with any queries you may have before your arrival, whether it’s about obtaining your visa or preparing for your studies.
To help welcome you to the UK, we can pick you up from the airport and take you directly to your accommodation. Our friendly student services team will answer any questions you have, and make sure you’re comfortable in your new surroundings.
Once you’ve accepted your offer to study with us, you can arrange your airport transfers with us too.
The first week of term is Welcome Week, during which you’ll get the chance to familiarise yourself with the College and the University campus. You’ll also meet lots of new people, from the teachers who will guide you throughout your course, to other international students.
There will be lots of activities and events for you to enjoy while at the College. These are designed to give you the best experience possible of living in the UK. For example, you could take part in sports tournaments, visit local attractions like Colchester Castle and Zoo, or discover nearby cities like Cambridge and London. It’s a great way to explore the UK and make new friends!
When you study at the University of Essex International College, you can stay in a stylish, modern residence, with all the contemporary features you need. The accommodation includes all bills, and is conveniently located on or close to the University campus, so you’ll effectively be a university student from the day you move in.
