My 3 top tips for surviving exams are:
1. Stop procrastinating
This is probably one of the hardest things to do because we have the internet, technology and social media available 24/7. You have to be determined and firm to leave the things that distract you and start revising for your exams as soon as possible, instead of leaving it until the last minute.
2. Create a study plan
Depending on how many exams and topics you have to cover, I recommend you make a schedule of what to study and at what times. Remember that studying is important, but you also have to take breaks. You have to find a balance that works for you.
3. Make notes
I am a visual learner, so writing down the most important things helps me to remember facts and details. I recommend figuring out if you are a visual learner or an auditive one in order for you to study in the most effective and efficient way.

It’s a great thing to work hard to prepare for your exams but an even better thing to work smart. I like to work smart and I have lots of tips that I follow to be successful during exams. Here are my 3 most important tips:
1. Don’t leave studying to the last minute
For me, preparing for exams starts from the first week of the semester. I make a study plan for studying at least once a week to go over what I learned in the past week. This really helps me to deepen my understanding about past lessons and further allows me to accumulate more information for coming weeks.
2. Make good connections with your professors
I like to make good connections with my professors, because they point you to in the right direction to study. It is one thing to study well and it’s another thing to study amiss. You want to ensure you’re right on track when studying. Making a good connection and maintaining a good conversation does this trick for me.
3. Learn to teach others:
Finally, learning to impact peers for me goes a long way. You help yourself more than you help the person you’re teaching if you master this craft. I retain more in my memory when I teach others than when I just do solo study.
However, it’s very important to understand that everybody absorbs and recalls information differently, so don’t feel discouraged if you don’t learn the same way as your classmates. Find out your learning styles and tailor your study needs accordingly.

It is that time of the year when you are both excited and stressed; the exam period. You are excited because it means that you are probably about to have a holiday, but stressed because there is a lot to do and you want to succeed. [These are my 3 top tips for surviving exams:]
1.Get plenty of rest
One of the practices I have found really important during exams is rest. It is quite helpful to get as much rest as you can so that you can restore energy. It also relaxes your brain in the sense that you feel refreshed either during revision or during the exam itself and it enables you to more information when you have a refreshed mind.
2. Start revising early
Secondly, it is always a good idea to start revision earlier so that you can avoid having loads of work to do at the last minute. Therefore, it becomes stressful that you may not be able to cover as much you would have liked to. However, starting revision earlier provides enough time to prepare but to also relax.
3. Make a schedule and stick to it
Lastly, I have always found useful to make a schedule and sticking to it. For instance, you can make a mini timetable of what you want to cover in one day and make sure you are focused enough to achieve what you put on that timetable. It helps you to keep the focus and also get work done effectively. This not only helps in exams but in studies generally. It helps in being organised.
