  • Adin Talbar (Israel)

    Attended the University of Westminster

    Studied his high school exams at the Regent Street Polytechnic, which became the University of Westminster.

    Lifetime achievement

    Former Deputy Director of the Israeli Ministry for Commerce and Industry. Talbar is credited with furthering German-Israeli cooperation and founded the Israel Academic Sports Association (A.S.A.).

  • Arthur Max (USA)

    Graduated from the University of Westminster

    Earned a BA in Architecture

    Lifetime achievement

    An American Production Designer. Max has been nominated for three Academy Awards for his Production Design work on Gladiator (2000), American Gangster (2007), and The Martian (2015).

  • Dame Vivienne Westwood (UK)

    Attended the University of Westminster

    Studied Silversmithing at Harrow School of Art, which became the University of Westminster, for 1 term in 1992.

    Lifetime achievement

    World-famous fashion designer and businesswoman. Vivian Westwood was largely responsible for bringing modern punk and new wave fashions into the mainstream.

  • Katalin Bogyay (Hungary)

    Graduated from the University of Westminster

    Earned an MA in International Communications in 1994.

    Lifetime achievement

    Currently the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative of Hungary to the United Nations since 2015. Bogyay was formerly the Hungarian Ambassador to UNESCO and a well-known TV presenter for MTV Hungary, as well as an international documentary filmmaker.

  • Parry Ravindranathan (India)

    Graduated from the University of Westminster

    Earned an MA in International Journalism (Broadcast) in 2003.

    Lifetime achievement

    Led the expansion of Bloomberg Media into India in 2010. Ravindranathan is now President and Managing Director for all of Bloomberg Media’s international operations outside the USA.

  • Pawlu "Paul" Xuereb (Malta)

    Graduated from the University of Westminster

    Earned a BA in Journalism, Political Economy and Political Science at the Regent Street Polytechnic, which became the University of Westminster, in 1950.

    Lifetime achievement

    The Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malta from 1986 until he became the Acting President of Malta from 1987 until 1989. A bronze statue designed by Anton Agius was erected outside the Bastions of Mdina in his honour.

  • Peter Ramrayka (Guyana)

    Graduated from the University of Westminster

    Earned an MBA in 1988.

    Lifetime achievement

    A founding member and Chairman of Guyhealth (UK), which provides support to Guyana’s health services. Ramrayka is Chair of the Institute of Healthcare Management’s London and South East Regional Council, and the Royal Air Force Association’s City and Central London Branch.

  • Siddharth Shanghvi (India)

    Graduated from the University of Westminster

    Earned an MA in International Journalism in 1999.

    Lifetime achievement

    Award-winning author. Shanghvi’s debut novel The Last Song of Dusk (2004) won the Betty Trask Award, one of UK’s most prestigious prizes for debut novels. His book was translated into 16 languages and became an international bestseller. Shanghvi has been voted one of India Today’s 50 Most Powerful Young Indians and one of the Sunday Times’ lists of the UK’s 10 Most Creative Men.

  • Zac Nsenga (Rwanda)

    Graduated from the University of Westminster

    Earned an MA in Diplomatic Studies.

    Lifetime achievement

    The Rwandan ambassador to the United States from 2003 to 2007. Previously Nsenga had been Ambassador to the State of Israel, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
